MYSURU: The city police have registered a case against controversial writer Prof K S Bhagawan over him objectionable comments on the Vokkaliga community.
During the Mahisha Utsav event held recently, Bhagawan had made controversial remaks about the Vokkaliga community, while attributing it to poet laureate Kuvempu.
Following a complaint from Gangadhar C G, a social worker and president of the Karnataka Rajya Vokkaligara Sangha, the Devaraja police have registered an FIR under Sections 153 and 153A of the IPC.
