BEGALURU: Two men on a two-wheeler narrowly escaped a fatal accident on NH-44 in Bengaluru recently. The scooter skidded and tumbled after hitting a pothole following which the rider lost control and he and his pillion fell on busy National Highway-44 near Attibele on the outskirts of Bengaluru.
The riders immediately got up by themselves, but had suffered minor injuries. The incident had occurred at 5.37 pm on October 31 and was was captured on the dashcam of a car.

The incident has sparked outrage on social media, with a video of the incident being shared. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is responsible for maintaining the highway. Commuters have expressed anger, stating that they pay tolls to use the road, which should be safe and well-maintained.
