KOPPAL: The police have arrested an accused in a dacoity case, who had fled from jail, after 14 years from Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh.
Abeed Khan had been lodged in the Koppal central prison after he was arrested in a dacoity case in 2010. However, he had managed to scale the wall and make good his escape.
After a search that lasted 14 years, the Koppal police traced Abeed Khan to Raebareli and arrested him from there.
