BENGALURU: A woman destroyed the Pookalam created by children for Onam at an apartment complex at Thanisandra in Bengaluru. After a video of the woman stamping on the flower arrangement and destroying it went viral, she has been slammed online.
Some children of the apartment complex had created the Pookalam in the common area of Monarch Serenity apartment complex in Thanisandra to which, the woman, identified as Simi Nair, took objection to and destroyed it.

Despite pleas by other residents, the woman did not budge. In the video, she can be seen standing on the Pookalam as she continues to argue with other residents. Then, she kicks the flower arrangements, destroying the whole thing. She has been slammed online for her arrogant behaviour.
