Additionally, 3-4 extra police personnel have been deployed at the entrance. The Inspector and Sub-Inspector of the Malleswaram police station will visit the BJP office daily to review the security arrangements.

The NIA investigation had revealed a shocking plot by ISIS suspects to blow up the state BJP office with IED on the day of Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Ayodhya on January 22, 2024. When it didn’t succeed, the two key accused had planned The Rameshwaram Cafe blast.

The NIA said that Mohammed Mateen Taha and Mohammed Shazib were funded by their handler through cryptocurrencies, which Taha converted to Fiat with the help of various Telegram-based P2P platforms. The funds were used by the accused to perpetrate various acts of violence in Bengaluru.
