BENGALURU: Sandalwood actor ‘Kichcha’ Sudeep celebrated his 51st birthday with fans at the MES Ground in Jayanagar in the city on Monday.
Sudeep had earlier announced that there will be no celebration at his house. Despite this, many fans had gathered at midnight and raised slogans. They even danced and burst firecrackers. The actor and his wife Priya greeted the fans outside the house while he celebrated his birthday by cutting a cake at midnight with family members.
On the occasion, the teaser of Sudeep’s upcoming movie ‘Billa Ranga Badshah’ was released. The teaser starts with the word ‘Once Upon A Time in 2209′ and shows glimpses of the Statue of Liberty, Eiffel Tower and the taj Mahal. The movie is directed by Anoop Bhandari and the teaser has piqued fans’ interest.
As Sudeep has himself said, the movie is the biggest budget outing of his career. Tollywood blockbuster HanuMan producers Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy are producing the movie.
A song from the movie ‘Max’ was also released at the event. The lyrics is by popular director Anoop Bhandari while Chetan Gandharva and M C Bijju have lent their voice. The music is by Ajaneesh Lokanath.
The movie is directed by Vijay Kartikeya and also stars Varalakshmi Sharat Kumar, Samyukta Hornad, Pramod Shetty and others. A new movie under Kichcha Sudeep’s direction, produced by KRG Studios was also announced.
Scores of fans, Sandalwood celebrities and others wished the star on his birthday. Srujan Lokesh and Indrajit Lankesh visited Sudeep at his house and extended their wishes.
