KOPPAL: Huge quantities of medical waste has been found dumped in a ditch beside the road connecting Irakal Gada and Abbigere villages, creating anxiety among locals.
Some miscreants have dumped huge quantity of medical waste in ditch and gone. Surprisingly, among this waste, prescriptions written by doctors have also been found. Finding of prescriptions given by doctors of Irakal Gada, Bevur and Kanakagiri parts has caused many doubts.
Even though medical waste should be disposed as per rules, dumping like this by roadside has created anxiety of serious effect on public health and environment. On receiving information, the police visited spot and conducted an inspection.
