CHIKKABALLAPUR: A cab fell into a quarry pit while returning from the Adi Yogi Ashram of the Isha Foundation near Avalagurki, after the driver lost control, on Sunday night. Luckily, all the occupants of the cab were safe.
A group of youths from Raichur had hired the cab to visit the Adi Yogi Ashram. The incident occurred when the cab driver was trying to overtake a mini bus when they were returning. The car fell into a quarry pit, but luckily the occupants survived with minor injuries.
Locals rushed to the rescue of the occupants of the car and pulled out the vehicle with the help of an excavator. The injured youths were shifted to the district hospital in Chikkaballapur. The Chikkaballapur Rural police have registered a case.
