MANGALURU: A higher primary school teacher has been booked under the POCSO Act for allegedly sexually harassing a minor student by showing her inappropriate videos.
The accused Viraj Jain, a teacher at the SDM aided higher primary school at Ujire, has been accused of sexually harassing a Class 6 student. The girl would hesitate to attend school and when the parents inquired with her, she told them ab out the harassment from the teacher.
Viraj Jain allegedly used to show inappropriate videos to the girl from June last year and would misbehave with her. The Belthangady police have arrested him and registered a case under the POCSO Act.
