BJP activist dies after his bike hits with Shobha Karandlaje’s car in KR Pura

BENGALURU: An active BJP worker lost his life after his two-wheeler collided with the parked car of Bangalore North Lok Sabha candidate Shobha Karandlaje near Ganesha temple in KR Pura on Monday. The deceased was identified as Prakash (35), a resident of KR Pura.

The accident occurred when someone opened the door of the car and Prakash suddenly came from behind and hit the car.

The critically injured bike rider, was immediately rushed to a Government GeneralĀ  hospitalĀ  KR Pura in the city, but could not be saved. It is said that Shobha Karandlaje was not in the car at the time of the accident.

Shobha Karandlaje said, “There was a rally today. The incident occurred when everyone returning after the campaign and the car was parked near KR Pura Circle. Our party activist came from behind, hit the car when the door was opened and fell on the road and a bus ran over his head. He was a loyal worker. The death of Prakash is really sad. We will do whatever we can to help his family. Everything will be clear after the post-mortem report”.
