15-foot-tall Ram idol at Mysore Bank Circle in Bengaluru draws crowds

BENGALURU: The entire nation is eagerly waiting for the historic moment on January 22 and chants of Lord Ram can be heard almost everywhere. All preparations are being made for the consecration of the Ram Lalla idol at Ayodhya and the idol Rama Lalla, carved by Mysuru sculptor Arun Yogiraj, has already been placed in the sanctum sactorum.

Meanwhile, in the heart of Bengaluru, a 15-foot-tall idol of Rama, made out of fibre, is attracting crowds and passersby.

The light blue hued 15-foot-tall idol of Lord Ram, installed outside the Anjaneya Temple at Mysuru Bank Circle, is drawing a large number of people who are taking darshan of the idol and clicking pictures.

The huge idol of Rama is in seated position and people are showing their reverence to him and also taking photos. The idol is installed in the central part of the city and will be available for public viewing till January 23.
