BENGALURU: An autorickshaw overturned after hitting a pothole on the Sarjapur-Silk Board road around 10.30 pm on Sunday. Both the driver and passenger sustained minor injuries. The incident was captured on the dashcam of a car which was trailing the autorickshaw.
Other vehicle users who were passing by immediately rushed to the rescue of the auto driver and passengers. They also helped put the autorickshaw back on its wheels. The vehicle too sustained some damage. The incident occurred in Madiwala police limits.
Locals complained that this was the third accident on the potholed stretch of the road within a week. They also pointed out that the road lacks proper streetlighting.
