GADAG: Three people died on the spot after a car and moped collided near Adavisomapur road in the district on Monday. The deceased have been identified as Shivappa Nayak (50) Shingatarayanakere Thanda, Shivanand Lamani (33) of Chabbi Thanda and Krishna Lamani of Doni Thanda.
The car was coming from Mundaragi to Gadag, while moped was going from Gadag to Shingatarayanakere. Police source said the accident occurred due to car driver’s negligence. A case been registered at Gadag Rural police station.
