BENGALURU: Bomb threat emails were received at two educational institutions in the city on Tuesday, following with they were shut.
At the Ebenezer International School in Hebbagodi, the authorities were involved with the admission process for the upcoming academic year. An email warning of ‘explosive devices planted in the building’ was received on the school’s official email address following which the police were informed and the school premises in vacated.
The Hebbagodi police, along with the dog squad, checked the entire school premises with metal detectors and Deputy Police Commissioner Purushottam also visited the spot.
In another case, a threat email was also received at the Indian School in Bannerghatta.
