BENGALURU: Days after two road cave-in incidents were reported, one more such incident occurred in Ward No. 100 near Basaveshwara Nagar in Rajajinagar Assembly constituency on Monday.
On Sunday evening, a 7-foot-long and 4-foot-wide portion of the road collapsed in front of a school, where a BWSSB pipeline passes beneath. The locals filled in the caved-in portion with huge stones.
The locals claimed that no official had visited the spot even after a day. After the Public TV reported the issue, BBMP and BWSSB officials arrived and the workers repaired the caved-in part, covered the hole and drained the accumulated water.
