BENGALURU: A Class 7 student was found murdered near Vibhutipura Lake in HAL police limits on Monday. Police identified the deceased as Arfar, a resident of Ramesh Nagar, on Tuesday.
The HAL police have taken two minor boys into custody late on Monday night and are interrogating them. It is suspected that the victim was murdered and the body dumped near the lake, but the motive for the murder was not immediately known.
The HAL police got information from locals who were out for a walk. Some residents had called the emergency number 112 and informed the police about the boy’s body lying near the lake. Following this, the HAL police visited spot.
