BENGALURU: A popular tattoo artist, who is also an actor, was allegedly cheated of lakhs of rupees by a woman who had promised to marry him. After she was caught red-handed while on a video call with another man, the tattoo artist was attacked with an iron rod for questioning her.
Popular tattoo artist Arjun, known as Tattoo Ghost on soccal media, got acquainted to a woman named Sampritha at his studio two years ago. Sampritha, who is married and has two children, had told Arjun that her husband had died. The acquaintance soon turned into love. Later, Arjun also got divorced and Sampritha had told him that they will get married. Arjun claimed he had given money to Sampritha many times, believing her. But Sampritha had been postponing marriage for last one year.
On September2, Arjun had called Sampritha, but as she did not receive the call, he had gone near her house. At this time, she was talking obscenely with another man. When he questioned her, an argument ensued. At this time, Arjun was allegedly attacked with an iron rod.
But Arjun had posted a video on social media claiming that the injuries were a result of an accident, fearing his reputation. He has more than one million followers on social media and recently got an opportunity to act in movies also. A case has been registered at the Byadarahalli police station regarding the attack and further investigation is under way.
