MANDYA: More than 25 students of the Sarangi Morarji Desai residential school in KR Pet taluk fell ill due to suspected food poisoning on Wednesday morning. They were immediately taken to a local hospital for treatment.
More than 25 children complained of vomiting and their health deteriorated even before they consumed breakfast. After treatment at a local hospital, the students returned to the residential school.
KR Pet MLA H T Manju visited the school and inquired about the children’s health. He also instructed the officials to check the cause for children’s health failing and to a submit report.
