BENGALURU: Huge trucks getting stuck at underpasses in the city has become quite a common sight in recent days. Only on Wednesday, a truck got stuck at the underpass near Maharani College.
In the wee hours on Thursday, another huge container truck, carrying brand new cars, got stuck at the Rajkumar Road underpass, leading to much chaos. Around 3.30 am, the heavily loaded truck entered underpass and got stuck. As soon as the truck got stuck, the driver abandoned the vehicle and absconded.

Due to the multi-axle truck getting stuck in underpass and the pressure of heavy load, all tyres of truck had burst. As a result, there was severe hindrance for movement of vehicles in underpass. Vehicles were lined up even in Orion Mall underbridge portion.

Traffic police who came to spot diverted vehicle movement. There was slow movement towards Dr. Rajkumar 10th cross road, and indication given to riders to move carefully. Traffic police advised motorists to use alternative routes as much as possible till the underpass was cleared. Trucks getting stuck again and again in underpasses has become headache for traffic police.
