BENGALURU: An old, empty coach caught fire at the Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna Majestic railway station in the city late on Sunday night. Fortunately, there was no loss of life in the incident.
An old coach, which was empty, caught fire and was completely burnt in incident near platform No. 1. The incidennt occurred around 11.30 pm and the fire brigade put out the fire.
It is suspected that the fire broke out due to an electrical short circuit. Railway police were camped at spot since Sunday night and further investigation is under way.
