Yelahanka police raid spa, rescue 7 Thai women nationals from prostitution racket

BENGALURU: The police on Sunday arrested three persons after a raid on a Thai spa in Yelahanka New Town, where a prostitution racket was being run on the pretext of providing massages to customers, and rescued seven women.

Anjaneya Gowda and Harish are among the three arrested. The Deputy Commissioner of Police (North East Division) said that women from abroad were being invited for prostitution at Rora Luxury Thai Spa in Yelahanka New Town. The police raided the spa based on specific information.

The accused used to bring women from Thailand to Bengaluru on tourist and business visas and were running a prostitution racket, it is said.
