Special court rejects bail pleas of hacker Sriki and Robin Khandelwal

BENGALURU: A special court has rejected the bail applications of hacker Sriki a.k.a Srikrishna and Robin Khandelwal, who are accused in the Bitcoin scam case.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is investigating the Bitcoin scam and had conducted raids a few months ago and registered a case. Hacker Sriki, Robin Khandelwal and Sukesh Hegde were arrested following the raids.

The ED had also raided houses of Youth Congress youth leader Mohammed Nalapad along with Sriki, Robin Khandelwal, Sukesh Hegde. After investigation, charge sheet filed in court against all accused, including Nalapad.

Sriki and Robin Khandelwal and filed the bail applications a few days after filing the chargesheet. However, Special Public Prosecutor Madhu R Rao fileds objection to application and argued not to grant bail.
