BENGALURU: Namma Metro’s Green Line in Bengaluru witnessed major disruption in services from 8 am to 8.45 am on Tuesday due to a technical fault in power supply. Trains were running only on a short-loop from Silk Institute to Yeshwanthpur.
Due to the disruption, services were suspended at 10 stations between Yeshwanthpur and Madavara. Responding to the disruption, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited said the technical fault was rectified and normal metro services were resumed after 45 minutes. BMRCL expressed regret to passengers for the sudden inconvenience caused.

Since the technical fault occurred during the morning peak hour, thousands of passengers had a tough time. Metro services returned to normal after 8.45 am. Normal metro services resumed across the entire Green Line after restoration of power supply, Chief Public Relations Officer Yashavanth Chavan said. BMRCL also thanked passengers for their cooperation during the temporary disruption.
