BENGALURU: Six people died within a span of 24 hours in separate cases in Hebbagodi police limits in Anekal taluk on the outskirts of the city.
One person died after falling into the STP tank of GM Infinity apartment in a suspicious manner. The deceased was identified as Shubham Biswas (30), who hailed from Odisha.
Twenty-two-year-old Preethi, hailing from Jewargi in Kalaburagi taluk, committed suicide by hanging at her house at Neeladri Nagar. The motive for the suicide was not immediately known. Malatesh (52), a resident of Shikaripura, drowned in the Tirupalya lake and died after accidentally falling into the water.

An unidentified person was found hanging from a tree near the Kammasandra lake. In another case, one Sudeep Chandranath (36) ended his life by hanging with a dupatta. It is suspected that he ended his life over domestic dispute.
Twenty-year-old Lakayi Singh was found hanging at his house, but the motive for the suicide was not known. The Hebbagodi police and investigating all the cases.
