CHAMARAJANAGAR: After bomb threats to courts, a life threat has been made to the Principal Senior Civil Judge of Chamarajanagar, demanding that bail be granted to an accused in a criminal case.
An internet call was made to the judge’s mobile phone from the number 41000697200, demanding that bail be granted to the accused in Crime No. 144/2026. “If you reject bail, you will be the next target. We will not let you live”, the caller threatened the judge.
Earlier as well, the district court had received bomb threats more than four times. A case has been registered at Chamarajanagar Town police station and further investigation has been taken up after registering an FIR.
