BENGALURU: A smalltime actor, who had bagged a role in a short movie, ended up stealing a gold chain from another actor’s house in Sahakaranagar on June 28. The accused Abhishek has since been arrested.
Actor Likith Raj was directing a short movie titled ‘Flat F-01’. A person named Abhishek came to Likith Raj asking for an opportunity and landed a role in the short movie. The shooting was taking place at actor Likith’s flat in Sahakaranagar from June 28.
During this time, a gold chain from the puja room was stolen. Later, the actor’s mother filed a complaint at the police station. Based on the complaint, Abhishek, who had come for the shoot and stole the gold chain, has been arrested and a case registered at the Kodigehalli police station. A gold chain worth Rs 1.5 lakh has been recovered from Abhishek.
Actor Likith Raj has acted in several short movies including ‘Garudapurana’ and ‘Man of the Match’.
