KARWAR: A man was found murdered in a forest at Shinganamane in Sirsi taluk of Uttara Kannada district. The deceased was identified as Parameshwara Thimmanayak (32).
Parameshwara received a phone call around 7 pm on Thursday and after that, he had gone out of the house. He then went missing and did not return home. He was later found dead on Friday morning in the forest of Shinganamane.
It is suspected that he was killed with lethal weapons. The Sirsi Rural police rushed to the spot and a case has been registered. Further investigation is under way.
