RAMANAGARA: A lawyer was seriously injured after a country bomb exploded in Sundagatta village of Harohalli taluk. The victim is Mohan, a Bengaluru-based lawyer.
Mohan owns a farm house in Sundagatta village of Harohalli taluk, and it is said that he had come to his farm house and stayed there late on Thursday night. Some miscreants had placed a country bomb near the main gate of the farm house. On Friday morning, when lawyer Mohan came out of the farm house, he did not notice the country bomb placed near the gate and stepped on it when it exploded.
Due to the impact of the blast, lawyer Mohan’s condition is critical, and he is currently being treated at a private hospital in Bengaluru. Police officers visited and inspected the scene of the incident, and a case has been registered at Kodihalli police station. Prima facie, it is said that the country bomb was placed to target wild animals, and investigation into the case has been intensified.
