BENGALURU: The Ejipura flyover in the city, work on which has been going on for a long eight years, is likely to be completed later this year as the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) has set an October deadline for it.
Work on the Ejipura flyover was started in 2017 and has been progressing at a snail’s pace despite the contractor being changed. Against this backdrop, GBA Chief Commissioner M Maheshwara Rao held a review meeting on the Ejipura work with officials and contractors on Thursday.

Chief Commissioner Maheshwar Rao gave strict instructions to the contractors to deploy additional staff and labourers and complete the Ejipura flyover work by the end of October. He also warned that appropriate measures must be taken to ensure there are no potholes anywhere on the stretch of road where the flyover work is under way. He instructed them to identify all the potholes and fill them immediately.
