BENGALURU: In some good news for Bengalureans, especially those who don’t have an e-Khata yet, the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) is planning to deliver e-Khatas to their doorstep.
The GBA has decided to conduct a mega e-Khata mela from May 16 at 50 locations across the five city corporations under GBA’s jurisdiction. The GBA plans to bring around 25 lakh properties under e-Khata coverage. After May 16, an e-Khata mela will be held every Saturday.

At the e-Khata mela, the public can obtain e-Khatas directly. There will be no middlemen involved and no demand for bribes. Citizens can take the required documents, apply for an e-Khata, and obtain it. Already, 10 lakh e-Khatas have been distributed and the GBA aims to bring 25 lakh properties under e-Khata coverage.

- Sale Deed/Title Deed
- Property Tax Receipt
- SAS Property Tax ID
- Aadhaar Card and it is better if e-KYC is done
- Encumberance Certificate
- Bescom bill
- GPS location of the property.
