BELAGAVI: Goods worth lakhs were gutted after a fire broke out a at a plastic unit in Belagavi on Monday. The incident occurred in the industrial area of Honaga village in Belagavi taluk.
A fire broke out late at night at Dange Plastic Company. The fire is suspected to have been caused by an electrical short circuit. Fire department personnel rushed to the spot and doused the fire, preventing a major disaster.
No loss of life was reported in the fire accident. The incident occurred under Kakati police limits.
