RAICHUR: A KKRTC bus overturned near Guragunta, in Lingasugur taluk on Monday, after the driver lost control, leaving several passengers injured.
The bus was travelling from Gangavathi to Kalaburagi when it toppled off the road. Due to the driver’s alertness and precautionary action, a major disaster was averted. As a result, passengers escaped with minor injuries.
Those with more serious injuries were admitted to a local hospital and are recovering after treatment. The incident occurred under Hatti police station limits.
