9th edition of Public TV’s Vidhyapeeta a grand success; Over 10,000 students visit education expo and receive bumper gifts

BENGALURU: The 9th edition of Vidhyapeeta, Public TV’s proud presentation, concluded successfully at Gayatri Vihar, Palace Grounds, on Sunday evening. Thousands of students participated in the two-day education expo, held over two days, and gained knowledge. Not just that, they became lucky winners by receiving bumper gifts like laptops and bicycles.

Over 10,000 students participated in the education expo held on April 25 and 26 and gathered information about educational institutions. More than 125 educational institutions came together under one roof and guided students on their future academic journey.

On the inaugural day on Saturday, Public TV head H R Ranganath, along with dignitaries, inaugurated the event. Seminars were held on various topics including CET and COMED-K on the first day. On the very first day, students received bumper gifts of five bicycles and a laptop through a lucky dip.

On the second day on Sunday, thousands of students and parents from Bengaluru and other districts visited the expo and gathered information. Several lecture programmes were also held on the second day. Handwriting expert Rafiullah Baig delivered a lecture, and Dr Sujatha Rathod, Director of the Department of Medical Education, conducted a special seminar on NEET.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Bengaluru Central) Akshay Hakay, gave a motivational speech to students.The second day of the Vidhyapeeta programme also saw a flurry of bumper gifts. Through a lucky dip, students received laptops and bicycles as gifts. Five lucky students won bicycles, and one student won a laptop.

At the same time, parents and students got to play fun games, including a slow cycling race, and were given surprise gifts. At the expo, students who scored above 90 per cent in the PUC II exam were specially given certificates and gifts.

During the event, the educational institutions that participated in the expo were honoured by Public TV with mementos. Held with the motto ‘Today’s learning is tomorrow’s beacon’, Public TV’s 9th edition of Vidhyapeeta concluded successfully and became a guiding light for students’ academic lives.
