KALABURAGI: At least 10 people were seriously injured in a serial accident involving a cement tanker, bus, and auto on the Chincholi–Telangana State Highway in Chincholi taluk, Kalaburagi district on Saturday.
A lorry loaded with cement was coming from Tandur in Telangana towards Chincholi. While trying to avoid hitting an auto, the cement lorry collided head-on with a bus which was travelling from Chincholi to Venkatapura.
In the incident, nine people in the bus were injured, and the auto driver sustained serious injuries. The injured have been admitted to a hospital in Chincholi for treatment. A case has been registered at Chincholi police station.
