UDUPI: An eight-year-old girl, Satvi Shetty, died on the spot in an accident involving a scooter and a private bus near Kaup on National Highway-66 on Wednesday. The accident took place near Sai Service Station in Kaup.
The girl was riding pillion with her father and the accident occurred while they were returning home after buying items from the market. A case has been registered at Kaup police station.
