CHITRADURGA: The Regional Transport Office (RTO) authorities in Kolar have reportedly issued a fitness certificate (FC) to a private bus (KA 16 B 8346) that has been scrapped in Parashurampur of Chitradurga district no wheels. The bus’s FC was surrendered in Chitradurga two years ago and was set to expire on December 25, 2025.
Despite its condition, the bus has been issued a Fitness Certificate (FC) by Kolar RTO officials, raising suspicions of foul play. It’s alleged that another bus with the same number is operating on the roads, highlighting the negligence and corruption within the transport department.
Social activist Praveen has filed a complaint, alleging that the department’s laxity is leading to accidents and malpractices. He has demanded a thorough investigation and action against those responsible.
