BENGALURU: Close on the heels of the gangrape of a woman in KR Market, another woman has been allegedly gangraped by four known youths at a private hotel near Jyothi Nivas Junction in Koramangala. Police are on the lookout for the accused.
The victim herself provided the police with the necessary information around 5 am on Friday and a case was registered. The men, who were known to the victim, allegedly raped her on the terrace of a private hotel.
The victim is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital, according to police sources. The police are providing her with the necessary support and care.
This incident comes after another gang-rape incident occurred in KR Market, Bengaluru, just a month ago. A woman waiting for a bus was allegedly gangraped on the pretext of finding her a job.
