CHITRADURGA: A lawyer and social activist has alleged that about 40 deer and antelopes which were on the premises of the Murugha Mutt on the outskirts of the city have gone missing.

In a letter to the deputy conservator of forest, the Lokayutka and others, Dr J S Madhukumar, an activist with India Against Corruption, has alleged that the animals have been missing since 2018 and expressed apprehension that they may have been killed and the hide and antlers sold.
