3,000 women recite Hanuman Chalisa 108 times simultaneously day before consecration

BELAGAVI/YADGIR: The countdown has started at the Ayodhya Ram Mandir for Pran Prathishta of Ram Lalla and devotees of Lord Ram all over the world are eagerly waiting to witness the historic moment. All corners of the country are prepared to celebrate the auspicious day in a unique way.

Meanwhile, around 3,000 women have drawn attention by reciting Hanuman Chalisa 108 times simultaneously at the Mahalakshmi Devi Kalyana Mandapam in Gokak of Belagavi district.

The programme was organised by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Rashtriya Sevika Samiti. Thousands of women dressed in similar coloured attire, holding Rudrakshi beads in their hands, chanted the Hanuman Chalisa mantra 108 times to seek the blessings of Lord Ram.

Ahead of Pran Pratishtha of the idol of Ram Lalla, parents also dressed up their children as Sri Rama and Sita in Yadgir.
