3 siblings missing from Dharwad village found at Old Hubballi dargah, reunited with parents

DHARWAD: Three siblings, who had gone missing from Kyarakoppa in Dharwad after setting out for school on Monday, were found at a dargah in Old Hubballi on Tuesday. They were later handed over to the parents by the Dharwad Rural police.

Ramzanbi (12), Fathima (10) and Mahira (6) had left for school on Monday, but did not return in the evening. The girls are studying in Class 6, Class 4 and Class 1, respectively. When they did not return home in the evening, the parents lodged a complaint with the Dharwad Rural police, who launched a search.

Meanwhile, the parents were informed by another woman from the same village that the children had boarded a bus around 11 am on Monday and had alighted at Jubilee Circle on Dharwad.

On Tuesday, the girls were found sleepign at a dargah in Old Hubballi, and when questioned, they revealed that they were from Kyarakoppa. On receiving information, the Dharwad Rural police rushed to the dargah and reunited the children with their parents.
