3 inter-state women drug peddlers from Jharkhand who target college students arrested

BENGALURU: The Pulakeshi Nagar police have arrested three inter-state women drug peddlers who were selling ganja smuggled in from outside Karnataka and selling it to college students in the city. The arrested have been identified as Prema, Sunita and Muthyalamma.

The police said, “The accused were cultivating ganja in the hilly areas of Jharkhand. Later, they used to bring it to Bengaluru to sell it”. The women were targeting college students and sold ganja in small packets.

Police also said that they were selling narcotic substances in some shops also. A case has been registered in Pulakeshi Nagar police station in this regard and further investigation is under way.
