Youth dies after drowning in farm pond

KOLAR: A 20-year-old youth, who had gone swimming in a farm pond, died after drowning at Beerandahalli in Bangarpet taluk on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Likith.

After Ugadi celebrations at home, Likith had gone for a swim in the farm pond. However, he got stuck and could not resurface and died. The Bangarpet police visited the spot and registered a case.
