BENGALURU: In a horrific murder, a group of six people, including three men and three women, killed a youth by smashing him with stones repeatedly for at least 20 times, at 5th Cross Road in K P Agrahara on December 3 midnight. The deceased was identified as Manjunath.
In CCTV footage, it can be seen that the group first gets into an argument with youth. Things suddenly go out of hand and the group of people pin the youth on to the ground while an elderly woman picks up a stone from the roadside and smashes the youth’s head and face. Others also join in and repeatedly smash the youth with stones, leading to his death.
The K P Agrahara police suspect that the group murdered the youth over his affair with a girl, and are on the lookout for the accused.
