CHAMARAJANAGAR: A youth has been arrested by police for stalking a college student to enter into a relationship with him and threatening to kill her.
The arrested accused is Ayub Khan. The girl student, who is studying in a private college in Mysuru, had filed a complaint with the Gundlupet police after he began harassing her.
The police have registered an FIR and are investigating the case.
According to the complaint, Ayub had initially befriended the student by posing as a Hindu and claiming to be her girlfriend’s brother. However, when the student discovered his true identity, she distanced herself from him.
Despite this, Ayub continued to harass her, using abusive language and threatening to kill her. The police have taken Ayub into custody and are interrogating him as part of their investigation.
