BENGALURU: A couple who were into stealing two-wheelers to lead a luxurious life and abuse drugs have been arrested by the Malleswaram police. The young woman has also been caught on CCTV camera stealing a two-wheeler.
The young woman, along with her boyfriend, would steal two-wheelers, sell them at lesser prices and enjoy a lavish life and drugs. Not only the boyfriend, the young woman too was into stealing two-wheelers. The woman and her boyfriend Muruga would take turns in stealing two-wheelers.
The duo had stolen vehicles in Srirampura, Malleswaram and other police limits and would splurge the money on drugs like MDMA and ganja. The police have arrested the duo and seized, three stolen two-wheelers and mobile phones from them. The Malleswaram police have taken up further investigation.
