CHAMARAJANAGAR: The carcass of a young female leopard was found in a field at Vaddarahalli in the taluk. The leopard is said to be aged about a year old and is suspected to have died of hunger.
The remains of the leopard were found about 16 km from the edge of the BRT tiger reserve and viscera samples were sent for post-mortem examination. Deputy Range Forest Office Sripathy said the leopard may have died of hunger.
