MADIKERI: Mysuru-Kodagu Lok Sabha constituency BJP candidate Yaduveer Krishnadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar campaigned in many parts of Kodagu on Sunday under the hot sun and sought votes from the people for the upcoming Lok Sabha election.
Yaduveer engaged in campaigning through the day and even at night in rural areas including Virajpet, Ponnampet taluk and other areas. “In in earlier days, the kings went to every house and worked like father. Similarly, I am ready to work like the son of all the villagers’ families”, Yaduveer said.
Further, he said, “Narendra Modi should be the Prime Minister again and more development work should be taken up in the state”. He urged voters to vote for the BJP candidate and join hands to build a great India.
“Many questions are bothering people even today. Everyone has a question on their mind — about how a person who grew up in a palace and in a dynastic environment understand the plight of the people. No one even needs to come to the palace. I will come out of the palace to redress the grievances of the people”, he reassured them.
