BENGALURU: A woman, who eloped with her boyfriend, was sexually harassed by an auto driver. The auto driver, Raju, was arrested by the police after the victim lodged a complaint.
The woman had left home with Mansoor and Chetan, an acquaintance, had promised to help them both. An autodriver picked up two and told them that he would show them a rented house. The auto driver had also given alcohol to the woman’s boyfriend and also drank himself.
After that, the auto driver, sexually assaulted the woman under the influence of liquor. Then, the couple fought back against the accused and escaped from the scene. A case has been registered at the Konanakunte police station.
