BENGALURU: A woman, who was travelling in an autorickshaw, has alleged harassment by two motorcycle-borne youths in the city near National Games Village in Koramangala on Tuesday.

In a series of posts on X, formerly known as Twitter, going by the handle @_waabi_saabi_, wrote, “1/ Was having a great day. Took an auto back home alone. Then a guy in a blue shirt kept zooming dangerously close to my auto. First, I ignored it.Then he kept coming closer & letching at me. Finally I yelled at him & snapped a pic of his license plate (KA01J U4596)”.

“He gave me the middle finger. The he and his friend zoomed away dangerously fast through traffic. @BlrCityPolice @blrcitytraffic @CPBlr – pls tell me – when will we get freedom from such creeps? Please take cognizance of this offence (location pin) National Games Village, Koramangala”.

“I’ve always felt safe in Bangalore. But this is the SECOND time in TWO weeks that I’ve been subject to sexual harassment. In broad daylight. This isn’t a country for women. :/”, she wrote, ending her post with a sad face emoticon.
