BENGALURU: A techie riding on a two-wheeler lost her life in a tragic accident near Hoskur APMC in Madanayakanahalli when she came under a lorry while the rider was trying to avoid a pothole.
The deceased has been identified as Priyanka (26). She was riding pillion on a bike with her brother towards Madavara from APMC Huskur Road when the accident occurred. The brother narrowly escaped with injuries, but Priyanka fell under an oncoming lorry, which ran over her head, killing her on the spot.
The road condition is pathetic due to ongoing construction work, and a pothole was reportedly the cause of the accident. A case has been registered in this regard at Madanayakanahalli police station.
